Construction is set to begin in September on Pixon, the fourth multifamily project in Tavistock Development Co.’s Lake Nona master-designed community in Orlando, Fla.

The 24-hour fitness center will support Lake Nona’s recognition as the world’s most sophisticated wellness community by the Global Wellness Institute.
Balfour Beatty Construction will serve as general contractor, and SPM Property Management, which also manages Lake Nona’s Ariel, LandonHouse, and WaterMark communities, will serve as property manager.
Lake Nona is one of the fastest-growing communities in the Orlando region, with more than $1 billion worth of new developments in the pipeline over the next 36 months.
At full build-out, Lake Nona, which is adjacent to Orlando International Airport, will house millions of square feet of commercial space, thousands of hotel rooms, and 25,000 residents on 17 square miles.
Pixon will be located within walking distance of the Lake Nona Town Center.
